I'm working on some new portfolio pieces. While looking for visual reference, Chip Coffey, a psychic on tv, came to mind for the character of a fortune telling Frog. So I drew this last night, with his likeness.

Pin Up: first attempt

I got this awsome pin-up book for my birthday (best birthday present EVER- thanks Matt), so I'm starting my attempts on 50's- 60's retro pin-ups. I'd like to go for color soon. Still working on getting Painter.

I'm attempting to post a sketch as often as I can...so far 2 days in a row...not bad...but still rusty...my arm squeaks when I draw!

So I'm a little rough...it's been a while since I've actually had the chance to sit down and draw for fun :) Need to study more anatomy...I really should tote around my sketchbook more...I get zany ideas in the middle of Marketing meetings at work...heehee...
