This is my piece for "Road to Comic con" group show at the Hive Gallery in Los Angeles, CA.  Show opens this weekend 7/7/12.

It is a super hero themed group show to kick off next week's Comic Con in San Diego.  This show should be a lot of fun!

Transferring my image to wood and doing my final revisions before I lay down the first layer of acrylics.

Just a quick sketch I did the other day, using Photoshop.  Trying to teach myself to lay color much quicker.

My Process

Here is a quick run down on my art process.  I usually start out with a quick sketch (usually rougher than this), clean up, then transfer to wood.  From there begins the magic of trial and error in PAINTING!    Then, voila!  Frame that shiz and pray it sells and makes someone happy!
