I am working on my next piece for a group show in San Francisco at Modern Eden Gallery.  The theme is from Edgar Allen Poe's poem Nevermore.  Oddly enough, one of my favorite.

So for this piece I will be doing a visual diary.  You are all invited to follow me along my process from start to finish.

I will be posting random things that will help spur my creativity.

It’s been a very long time since I have had the pleasure of using just a basic pencil and paper to create something (I usually paint or use a cintiq.)  I went back to my cartoonier roots for this one.  I had a lot of fun with it.  I may do a small series of these in the near future.

This is my piece for "Road to Comic con" group show at the Hive Gallery in Los Angeles, CA.  Show opens this weekend 7/7/12.

It is a super hero themed group show to kick off next week's Comic Con in San Diego.  This show should be a lot of fun!
