Pin Up: first attempt

I got this awsome pin-up book for my birthday (best birthday present EVER- thanks Matt), so I'm starting my attempts on 50's- 60's retro pin-ups. I'd like to go for color soon. Still working on getting Painter.

It's beautiful. I can't wait to see it in color. Who was the book of. Gil Elvgren is my personal fav. But I love Al Buells work as well. Keep it up Girly, I love it.

Happy 26th!!! Glad to see your keeping up the drawings. As things go you just gotta jump into it. Can't wait to see your paintings. But remember Painter is not a substitute for the real thing. Try a hand at doing the old fashioned oils, acrylics and watercolors too to at least remember the feeling of using canvas, paper etc.

Pretty girl! Yes, make this drawing in color!
You have lots of beautiful drawings on your blog! I like the Gizmo-dog and the girl in your profile too!
